Hello all! So I’ve decided to bring back The Blog…starting with this lovely couple, K&A. They’re from the US but currently living in Barcelona, and decided to come to Paris for Christmas and we planned a shoot. Luckily K&A’s vision for this shoot was right on par with my re-found and profound love of noir et blanc.
Truly! There’s something so timeless about black and white photography: its ability to strip away distractions and highlight the raw emotions, the light, and the contrast that make each moment unique. Lately, I’ve been more and more drawn to this classic style, especially when capturing couples and individual portraits. There’s an intimacy and depth in monochrome that adds an almost cinematic feel to the images, telling a love story in its purest form.
Walking through the streets of Paris with K&A was so lovely, and the wintry afternoon provided the perfect backdrop for their love story.
K&A’s connection was effortless: tender, playful, romantic, and full of quiet moments that spoke volumes. In black and white, every look, every touch, every embrace became even more poignant. Without the distraction of color, their love took center stage, allowing the essence of their bond to shine through.
